Do I need any experience?
Nope. Most of our students have never touched a surfboard before. We start everyone on land with safety, paddling, and pop-up technique before heading into the water.
What's included in a lesson?
Wetsuit, soft-top board, leash, and a certified bilingual instructor. Photos and GoPro video are available as add-ons.
How long is a lesson?
A group lesson runs about 1.5 hours, with roughly an hour in the water. Personalized lessons are 90 minutes and more focused, and the VIP Package is a full 3 hours.
What should I bring?
A swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen (reef-safe please), and water. We provide everything else. A change of clothes is a good idea too.
What if the surf is too big?
We move lessons to a smaller, friendlier break or reschedule at no charge. Your safety and a fun first wave come first.
Can kids take lessons?
Yes — we teach kids 7+. For younger kids we recommend a private lesson so the instructor can give one-on-one attention in the water.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your lesson. Inside 24 hours we can reschedule, but the deposit isn't refundable.
Do you offer transport from my hotel?
We can arrange a taxi from most Miraflores and Barranco hotels for an extra fee. Just ask when you book.
